If you love some good home cooking you have GOT to try this mouthwatering recipe for your next biscuits and gravy! Seriously..the boys could NOT get enough. Just enough spice to give it that extra savory flavor - you definitely want to make a whole batch (and some extra biscuits), because this will be gone in a flash!
NOT TOM'S Sausage Gravy
1 lb ground breakfast sausage
1 lb ground spicy sausage
1-2 Tbsp Not Tom's All-Purpose Seasoning (to desired flavor)
1/2 cup flour
5 cups whole milk
Salt to desired taste
Brown sausage over medium heat. Add NOT TOM’S, and 1/2 cup flour and stir in. Allow to cook for 1-2 mins, stirring frequently. Add milk slowly, one cup at a time, while stirring continuously to create your gravy (the gravy will continue to thicken as it cooks). Continue to cook on medium heat while stirring periodically as the sauce cooks. Add salt to desired taste.
Reduce heat to low and allow to simmer, stirring occasionally until gravy is to desired consistency.
Serve with biscuits and enjoy!
