Of all the appetizers we make - THIS is the one our boys request the most.
In fact, it's been a couple of months since we have made these and they are STILL asking for them on nearly a weekly basis. (I really should remember to buy these the ingredients the next time we go to the store.....).
This is another party favorite and is that great combination of easy AND delicious that I just LOVE when it comes to party appetizers. Hope you enjoy!
Not Tom's Bacon Wrapped Smokies
1 - 12 oz pack of little smokies
1 - 12 oz package of bacon
1/4 cup Not Tom's All Purpose Seasoning
1/4 cup brown sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix Not Tom's and brown sugar together in a medium sized bowl.
Cut bacon strips into thirds and toss in the bowl of Not Tom's/brown sugar mixture.
Wrap each individual little smokie in coated bacon and secure with a toothpick. Once wrapped, place little smokie onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet or baking pan.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
Serve immediately or place in a crockpot to keep warm throughout party.
Who's getting ready for some football???
It's that time of year for this group of Nebraska fans and we are ready to get things kicked off! The excitement of the new football season has us thinking about more than just bowl games and national championships (yes, Matt is the die-hard hopeful) - we are thinking all about tailgating (and OBVIOUSLY the FOOD!).
In fact, we spent a large part of this weekend coming up with some DELICIOUS Not Tom's tailgating recipes to share with you! So stay tuned for more. This is one of the first and Lisa swears, hands down, these are the BEST wings she's EVER tasted!

Not Tom's wings are on the grill! Making them perfectly crispy and delicious!
2 pounds chicken wings
2 Tbsp Not Tom's All Purpose Seasoning
Rinse and pat dry
Dust wings with 2 Tablespoons of Not Tom's All Purpose Seasoning.
Put on grill (350 degrees) and grill until crispy (turning every 10-15 minutes).
2/3 cup hot sauce (we used Frank's Red Hot)
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 & 1/2 Tablespoons Not Tom's All Purpose Seasoning
Put hot sauce in a sauce pan and warm over medium heat. Add butter and stir frequently to incorporate. Add Worcestershire sauce and Not Tom's. Whisk and toss with wings.
